WELCOME TO ST SHEELAN'S COLLEGE
A COLLEGE FOR ADULTS
St Sheelan's College is located in Templemore in the heart of Tipperary.
For more than a decade St Sheelan's College of Further Education has been a major player in the provision of excellent further education services to Tipperary and surrounding counties.
We specialise mainly at Levels 5 and 6 of the National Framework of Qualifications and offer a wide range of quality-assured programmes in various disciplines.
The College has grown significantly over the last number of years; however, what remains a constant is the supportive and friendly atmosphere in the College. Students constantly talk of the care of teachers and the encouraging learning environment which accommodates all students.
St Sheelan's supports its teaching and learning with facilities and equipment that reflect industry standards. However it is the dedication and professionalism of our staff that marks us apart.
Our objective is to provide all our students with a learning experience which is interesting, challenging and, most of all, enjoyable. Our greatest satisfaction comes from seeing our students achieve what they wish for themselves.
We hope that you find some courses in this prospectus of interest to you and we look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your educational goals.

The Student Council - St Sheelan's College
Â
The student Council at St Sheelan's College provides a forum for students. It acts mainly as the student voice in St Sheelan's College. In the last week of September one class representative and a deputy is elected from each course in the college.
Â
The class representatives form the Student Council for the academic year. Meetings are usually held once a month to enhance the communications within the community and to organize activities of benefit to students and recognized charities. Last year the Student Council had a busy year planning a variety of events aimed at fundraising for a variety of charities but above all creating a sense of community spirit within St. Sheelan's College.
Â
Two members of the Student Council represent the student's voice on the Board of Management.
